How do I provide feedback about my care?
If you’ve visited The Alfred at some point over the last twenty years, chances are you’ve been greeted by a very friendly face.
Volunteer Kate Pointon knows what it’s like to be a patient on the Neurosurgery ward at The Alfred – it’s where she spent three months last year recovering from a brain aneurysm. Now, she’s one of the first “Host Volunteers”, providing patients on the Neurosurgery and Trauma wards with companionship and conversation.
Alfred Health is encouraging current and former patients, and family members, to improve care by joining the health service as a volunteer consumer advisor.
