Irene Havryluk-Davies
Irene has been involved with Alfred Health since 2008 as a carer and advocate for her late husband until 2016.
Irene is also familiar with the aged care system, being a carer for her mother.
Irene is a very active member not only in her local Glen Eira community but the Ukrainian community of Victoria and Australia. She is fluent in the Ukrainian language and understands the challenges that having English as a second language poses in understanding health information.
Irene has been an active community participant including volunteering for Glen Eira Community Information, Red Cross and PLAST Worldwide Ukrainian Scouting Organisation.
She is also a Consumer Advisor for Alfred Health and involved in our Patient Portal Reference Group, does Patient Experience Surveys and is a member of our Patient Information Working Group and 5 West Concept and Design Committee.
Irene's professional background is electrical engineering.
