Mr Terry McNamara
Terry’s professional background is in electrical engineering. He has been a patient at The Alfred since 2014.
Terry commenced as a consumer advisor in March 2018 after ‘I discovered human compassion and empathy that I did not think existed…and after some years of recovery found myself wanting to reconnect with that source’.
As a very active consumer advisor at Alfred Health, Terry undertakes Patient Experience Surveys, has been part of numerous working groups and projects. Terry has a passion for ensuring the voice of the patients is heard and has a keen interest in health literacy being an ongoing member of the Patient Information Working Group since 2018.
