Previously funded schemes: Major Project Grants & Seeding Grants

In 2016, a competitive funding call, enabled by an additional $2.5 million of funding from The Alfred Research Trusts, resulted in the awarding of four Major Project Grants (up to $500,000 each) and five Seeding Grants (up to $100,000 each) to commence in 2017.

The lead investigators of these grants all have dual appointments with Alfred Health and at least one other institution based at the Alfred Research Alliance, as such it is hoped that the research will ultimately be of benefit to Alfred Health patients.
