ClinTrial Refer

Finding a clinical trial that's right for you or your patient can be challenging. To make the search easier, we have partnered with ClinTrial Refer.

What is ClinTrial Refer

ClinTrial Refer is an online tool which shows all Alfred Health clinical trials and provides detailed information about each clinical trial. You can choose to use the ClinTrial Refer app, or their website.

Using the ClinTrial Refer App

The ClinTrial Refer app is a quick way to see all of our open trials, in one place.

You can set shortcuts to access Alfred Health clinical trials faster and easier. Or you can simply search our trials from the main search menu.

Patients and families

ClinTrial Refer is the easy way to find a clinical trial that may be right for you or your family member.

By searching Alfred Health, you can access our list of potentially suitable clinical  trials, opening up further opportunities for treatment and care.

Clinicians

ClinTrial Refer is the easy way to find a trial that may be right for your patient. You can sit in front of your patient with your phone or tablet, explain all of the options, and refer to an appropriate trial. The app is open to the public, so patients also have the option to self-refer.

Contacts for the trials are listed, and trial units are very happy to take referrals.

Why are clinical trials so important?

Why are clinical trials so important?

We need clinical trials to prove that a new medication, device or treatment is safe and effective for people.

Without clinical trials, new treatments and medicines cannot be approved for use in Australia.
