We offer assessment and treatment for people with problems associated with their heart.

What we do

We assess and treat patients with adult cardiovascular (heart) disease. We have outpatient clinics, investigation suites and an inpatient ward co-located with Cardiothoracic Surgery. We have close links to Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and an extensive research and education program.

Who we care for

We provide care and treatment for people who are:

  • admitted into hospital with heart problems for management or investigation under Cardiology or Cardiology Heart Failure
  • referred to our specialist consulting clinics
  • referred for a cardiac test or procedure

How to access this service

Referral from your GP

You need a referral letter from your GP or medical practitioner to access this service.

Your doctor will need to fax your referral letter to us. We will be in contact with you in clinically recommended times, depending on waiting list length. If there is no waiting list, you will receive an appointment booking letter or we will contact you to arrange a suitable time.
